What is Firefly Child and Youth Therapies?

Firefly Child and Youth Therapies is a group of Allied Health Professionals that provide much needed services to children on Nova Scotia's Southwestern shore, Annapolis Valley, and beyond. We currently have a Physiotherapist and Occupational Therapist on the team, and are hoping to expand our services to provide for the growing need in this region.

Fun, targeted therapy is provided by experienced therapists, specifically for children, in a dedicated child friendly space. We believe in helping each individual child live their fullest possible life.

If you have any concerns about your child's development, please reach out and ask if we can help. Kids leave our clinic wanting to come back!

Children diagnosed with any type of motor delay including conditions such as Down Syndrome, Cerebral palsy, global developmental delay, hypotonia, chromosomal abnormalities/genetic disorders, spinal cord lesions or acquired brain injury may benefit from this form of therapy. Children at risk, such as those who are born prematurely can also benefit from this therapy due to the strong neuroplastic changes that this treatment stimulates within the developing brain.
